ABCN celebrates   Celebrating an ambitious and successful 2014

ABCN recently celebrated the end of another successful year with a number of interstate events generously hosted by our member companies - Commonwealth Bank in Sydney and Melbourne, Minter Ellison in Brisbane and KPMG in Perth.

Our newly appointed Chair, Helen Zimmerman flew in early on the morning of our Sydney event and addressed 150 guests at CBA’s city offices. We warmly welcome Helen in her new role, taking over from John Weber, former CEO of Minter Ellison, who chaired ABCN from 2013-2014.

The benefits of face-to-face time

This time last year, Sarah Skitt had just received the happy news that she was the recipient of an ABCN scholarship. One year on, as one of our 12 inaugural 2013 scholars, she has now completed the first year of her scholarship.

Partners in Learning - KPMG and Doonside High School

ABCN’s Partners in Learning (PiL) program links business and educational professionals to share experiences, solve problems and explore leadership challenges together. Intended to be a mutually beneficial, co-mentoring relationship, strong ties often form – and Doonside Technology High School and KPMG is a perfect example of this.
